I am simply a young woman that strives to
understand this world. I have a mind that thirst to comprehend the complex
things. On the subject of nature, the first thing that comes to my mind is God.
I believe that God himself created this world and all that is in it. Nature and
everything about is from God. It is a glorious gift that was given to us to rule
over, and to take care of. We are a part of nature, but set aside from it at the
same time. God created everything in this world through a spoken word but with
man, He came and crafted and molded us in His image using His hands. We cannot
begin to comprehend the meaning of our existence until He allows us to do so,
but in the mean time we can only enjoy and observe what has been given to us.
Nature is so natural. Nature happens at the right time to keep everything
in an unspoken cycle. Nature does not rush, does not fight the natural order,
and it never fails. The natural colors, sounds, smells, and textures are
naturally soothing to our human senses. Why do we choose to disturb what was
made to be perfect? We do not need tanning beds, when the sun kisses our skin
perfectly. The flowers were made to be our perfume, and the colors for our
viewing pleasure. This is all for us made by God himself.
Not all of us are made to
live in the woods, and go without the convenience of modern technology or
sciences, but time should be made to appreciate what was here before phones,
computer, and the distractions. These tools are draining on the body, mind, and
soul; but the natural world restores. It only takes a few minutes of being
outside in nature, to feel the difference. The moment we quiet our loud minds,
and shut out the worries and everyday life and just breath, we can feel our
bodies relaxing almost instantly. Escaping to a safe place, surrounded by
nothing but birds, trees, little animals, rocks, or anything else a person
thinks about when they think of a beautiful scenery, is the best medicine for
our soul. It can restore our minds the way no words from a professional can.
I believe if we not worry so
much about all the hard philosophical and theoretical aspect of something that
was created to be so simple and precious, we can spend more time enjoying the
beauty of it. Some things were not made to be understood by our small minds,
but just enjoyed simply as they are. I escape from the trials that come my way,
with a simple breath of fresh air. That breath will instantly recharge my
spirit, and I will find the strength to push forward. My meaning of nature is
something wholesome and a gift from our Heavenly Father, to restore our souls
and remind us of Him.
